Synopsis
This delightful story of an inquisitive youngster who discovers an old factory operated by a Mr. (or Mrs.) Aesop and an assembly line of seven (or more) fablemakers is now available in a nonmusical version. Some of Aesop's best-known fables including The Ant and the Grasshopper, The Lion and the Mouse, The Tortoise and the Hare and others are enacted as the young boy (or girl) surprises everyone, including himself, with his moral-making ability. This charming play is a director's delight as it presents ensemble performing at its best.

The multiple fables allow for a very flexible cast. Because it is many different stories in one performance, we were able to keep the attention of our youngest audience members.
We produced this as a touring show to our elementary schools. It was well received by both the actors and the audiences. Teachers have commented that they now have a daily "moral maker" in their classrooms. It is great to know the show left a lasting impression.
