It’s a cold January in 1941 at a clinic for disabled children in Nazi Germany. But now, instead of helping them, the doctor is sending them off to their deaths. Meanwhile, his maid, who knows nothing about what is happening, is worried about her own “normal” children and the behavior of a young man who works at the clinic. When a working-class mother arrives to visit her son, the doctor is shocked to discover the depths of her love.
