Sarah Stevens (1954-2006) served as music specialist in the public schools of Bloomington, Indiana, for 30 years. She earned a Ph.D. in Instructional Design from Indiana University in 1986 and designed and equipped the music and theater areas for the new University School in Bloomington, where she taught children in grades K-6. She had four theatrical pieces published: On Time (Dramatic Publishing, 1995) Henny Penny (Dramatic Publishing, 1998) and In Space (Dramatic Publishing, 2000), co-authored with Joy Chaitin; and The Fourth Wise Man (Dramatic Publishing, 1998), co-authored with Joy Chaitin and Marilyn D. Anderson. She was a lifelong resident of Bloomington.
