Nicholas A. Patricca (playwright, poet, essayist and educator) is professor emeritus at Loyola University Chicago (theology and fine arts), playwright emeritus at Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago, an ensemble member at TOSOS NYC and a contributing columnist at Windy City Times in Chicago. Patricca holds a Ph.D. (1972) from the University of Chicago, is an active member of the Dramatists Guild, is president of Chicago Network for Justice and Peace, is a member of the Writers in Prison Committee of PEN International (San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, chapter). Two of his major literary awards are an Oscar Wilde Award for his play Oh, Holy Allen Ginsberg and an Onassis Prize for his play The Defiant Muse. Patricca's poetry and performance poetry have been published and performed nationally and internationally. He is honored to have his plays published by Dramatic Publishing Company.
