Margaret Anne is a young girl who has never won anything in her life and suddenly finds herself as a participant in the upcoming "Miss Spell Contest" representing two spelling bees from an organization known as Rebels Without a Clue. The two spelling bees, 2 Bee and Not 2 Bee, take Margaret Anne to the Land of Spell where she is introduced to the queen and various characters who help her with basic rules of spelling. Margaret Anne not only becomes a better speller, she learns to overcome self doubt even at the risk of being wrong. This is a fast-paced musical comedy done in two acts with 21 original songs, political puns and astute observations on the social oddities of our time, laced with a refreshingly witty slice of American culture. Children's Book and Play Review gave this play an "A+" rating.

What looked like a cute, family-friendly storyline turned out to be a rather complex show filled with a challenging range of music and dynamic characters. The audience loved the lessons learned by Margaret Anne, not simply the spelling rules, but the deeper ideas of working together, learning as a life-long goal and responsibility for others. An entertaining and challenging show for young performers!
