Synopsis

Everyone was happy because they were trying to make everyone else happy—except the princess. She wasn't happy because all she could think about was herself. A visiting prince isn't happy either because what he wants is to slay a dragon and there just aren't any around. The stage manager steps into this situation with a dragon tail which he waves from behind a bush. Then the princess, moved by strange emotions, does something extremely unselfish. She puts herself out as dragon-bait to give the prince his longed-for opportunity.

Customer Reviews

"The Invisible Dragon is one of my favorite children's shows. The play offers entertainment not only for the children, but for the parents as well. In our production we incorporated the audience by giving them crepe paper dragon tails to wave and the characters ran through the audience as they were fooled by the children. Before the show the colorful townspeople entertained and danced with the audience, and at the end of the show each member of the audience was given their own lollipop by a member of the cast."
