Synopsis
Seth is struggling to come to terms with the divorce of his parents, and his fears come to life in his dreams—from singing lunch ladies who serve him slop to mean girl bullies who cram him into a garbage can. Seth eventually finds a cure for his anxiety at a school bus stop where he meets Natalie, a girl his age, who has experienced his same fears and pains. The realization that his anxieties are shared by others sends him to his first day of middle school with a confident smile.

Customer Reviews
- "Seth is a really fun to produce and provides a lot of opportunity for a young cast with a few more experienced actors for the bigger roles. It was very well received."
- Review by James Larson, Delavan Darien High School, Delavan, Wis.
- "One of the few large cast one-act scripts that I have come across that deals with pertinent issues of life as a middle-schooler and, at the same time, entertains the audience."
- Review by Michael Strawderman, Thomas Harrison Middle School, Harrisonburg, VA
- "Our audience loved the show! It was a delight to produce -- simplicity of sets, issues familiar to middle school students, and cleverly constructed dialogue make for a great mix. Kudos!"
- Review by Ed Fitzgerald, Kemps Landing Magnet School, Virginia Beach, VA
- "The show was adorable, and the kids loved performing it."
- Review by Scott Sherven, Fort Lauderdale Children's Theatre, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
- "A fun script! Lots of opportunity for broad characters and nonsense stage business. I like that there's a serious thread through the comedy. The play is very doable as a class project."
- Review by Tom Hewitt, Judson Middle School, Salem, Ore.
- "The students loved the contemporary script and characters they could recognize. It tackes issues that are relevant to middle school students but also manages to keep a sense of humor."
- Review by Kristin Hall, Lincoln School, Lincoln, Mass.
