Synopsis
Herman Ammann's adaptation of A Canterbury Tale From the Wife of Bath is a delightful comedy for all groups and a contest favorite. Chaucer's character, Wife of Bath, was an expert on marriage (with five husbands?). Her tale asks, "What does a woman want most of all?" Brave Sir Gallant Dilemma must answer within 24 hours or die. Beautiful Princess Oscarina pleads for his life. A wizard named Ego (he's super) and an ugly old crone try to help. Three ladies of the court—Lady Stumble, Lady Fumble and Lady Bumble—can't wait to see him beheaded ... they haven't had any exciting entertainment for a long time.
