Tom Conklin is a former editorial director at Scholastic Inc., and the author of many books for children published by Scholastic and Random House. He is a principal of Dahooma Productions in New York City, who in 2007 will produce Paddyville, a screenplay he co-wrote. Conklin is a past finalist in the Nicholls Screenwriting Fellowship competition, sponsored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
