Susan Miller won her second Obie and the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize for her one-woman play, My Left Breast, which premiered at the Humana Festival. She has since performed it in theaters around the country. Nasty Rumors and Final Remarks, Cross Country, Flux, For Dear Life, Confessions of a Female Disorder and It's Our Town, Too, were produced by the Mark Taper Forum, O'Neill National Playwrights Conference, Second Stage Trinity Repertory, Naked Angels and the Public Theater. She received the Publishing Triangle's Robert Chessley Lifetime Achievement Award in Playwriting. Miller, a Yaddo Fellow, has also received NEA and Rockefeller grants. She just completed a new play, A Map of Doubt and Rescue. She has written screenplays for Disney, Warner Bros., Universal and Fox 2000, among others.
