Rebecca Christian's plays have been performed at the Smithsonian Institution and Stanford University; and eight of her plays have been produced. She is a weekly newspaper columnist whose essays and articles have appeared in over 100 magazines and newspapers, including the Chicago Tribune, the Christian Science Monitor, American Baby, Women's World, Americana, Country Living and Travel & Leisure. Her work is published in such books as Chicken Soup for the Mother's Soul, Stories for a Mom's Heart, To My Daughter With Love and Moms Are the Best. A mother of three, Christian works full time editing literary anthologies for middle- and high-school students at an educational publishing company in Des Moines, Iowa. "If it's not one thing," Christian says, "it's a mother."
