Nate Sander hails from the small town of Camanche, Iowa, on the banks of the Mississippi River, the inspiration for his hit play Losers Bracket, co-written with his brother, Clay. The brothers have joint authorship on a few projects. Most notably, Losers Bracket (stage play), Bad Judgment Day (stage play) and the comedy pilot Happy Bobby Gulliver among others. Sander is a veteran of the Chicago theatre community having co-written three produced plays, all as a company member of the award-winning WNEP Theater. Sander currently resides with his wife, Mary, and his two daughters, Gwen and Lucy, in Charlottesville, Va.
