Michael Druce is a retired educator. He was born in London and later moved to the United States. Druce is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, where he majored in speech, drama, journalism and education. He has taught high school in Oklahoma, California and Alaska. As a writer, actor and director, Druce has more than 120 productions to his credit. To date, he has published 21 plays and two novels: Lydia Biswell Has It In For Me, written as Rhyd Flynn, and Sherlock Holmes and the Portal of Time, adapted from his play of the same name published by Dramatic Publishing.
