Matt Corriel is a graduate of Harvard College (2005) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (2013). He is the composer/lyricist of the following musicals published by Dramatic Publishing: A Christmas Carol (2005); Middle School Madness (2006); High School Intervention! (2007); and Chocolate Soup (2008). He is also the composer/lyricist of The Yatesville Tragedy (2007) and of the upcoming musicals Emcee MC's Tales to D.C. Town (a hip-hop adaptation of The Canterbury Tales) and Trial of Errors (a legal musical comedy). From 2007 to 2010, Corriel served as the resident songwriter in Adams House at Harvard College, as well as director of Harvard's Freshman Arts Program. While in these roles, he developed "How Songs Work," a co-curricular course he is adapting into a book.
