Larry Snipes, producing director of Lexington Children's Theatre, studied theatre at Alabama's University of Montevallo. After working as director of Prince George's Children's Theatre in the suburban Washington, D.C. area, he settled in Lexington, Kentucky, where he has resided for 30 years. As a director, a reluctant actor, an even more reluctant administrator and sometime playwright, Snipes is constantly inspired by the laughter and joy of the young audiences for whom he works.
