Kermit Frazier has had many plays produced in New York and around the country at such theaters as the New Federal Theatre, the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, the Asolo Theater Company, Baltimore Center Stage, the Seattle Children's Theatre and the First Stage Children's Theater. His plays include Kernel of Sanity, Little Rock, Legacies, An American Journey, Dinah Washington Is Dead, Class Reunion, Outside the Radio, Sacred Places and Interstices. He was a head writer for the popular children's television mystery series, "Ghostwriter," and has also written for "Gullah Gullah Island," "The Cosby Mysteries," "The Misadventures of Maya and Miguel" and "The Wonder Pets." Frazier's creative nonfiction, reviews and short stories have appeared in such publications as Callaloo, The Chicago Review, Green Mountains Review, American Theatre and The New York Times Book Review. He is professor of English at Adelphi University, where he teaches in the M.F.A. program in creative writing.
