Jake Minton

Jake Minton is a proud company member of The House Theatre of Chicago, where he has co-written several new plays with Chris Mathews and Nathan Allen, including Dave DaVinci Saves the Universe (Joseph Jefferson Award nomination for New Work), The Sparrow (Joseph Jefferson Award for New Work) and Rose and the Rime. Along with fellow House Theatre members Phillip Klapperich, Kevin O'Donnell and Tommy Rapley, he's the proud co-creator of a new stage version of The Nutcracker (Joseph Jefferson Award nomination for New Adaptation), which has been produced at several theatres throughout the United States. Minton lives in Dallas where he teaches, writes and spends time with his wife and two daughters. Minton attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and The Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University, both in Dallas.
