Donna Spector is a member of The Dramatists Guild, Poets & Writers and The International Centre for Women Playwrights. In 1986, Another Paradise, her first play, was produced off-Broadway at the Players Theatre. Other titles include Hanging Women, These Are My Adults, Manhattan Transits, Strip Talk on the Boulevard, Dancing With Strangers and A Sense of Movement. She has received two N.E.H. grants to study in Greece, and grants from the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation and the New York Council for the Arts. Her poems, scenes and monologues have appeared in many anthologies and literary magazines. Golden Ladder, is published in Women Playwrights: The Best Plays of 2002 (Smith and Kraus).
