David Henry Wilson's plays have been performed at most of the best-known fringe venues in London, as well as in theatres all over the UK and elsewhere in Europe. In addition to his theatre work, he is the author of many children's books and a novel, The Coachman Rat, which won critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. For many years he lectured at the universities of Bristol, England, and Konstanz, Germany-where he founded the university theatre. He is married, has three grown-up children, and lives in Taunton, England.
