Clay Sander and his brother, Nate, have a combined 20+ years of writing credits for stage, radio and television. They both hail from the small town of Camanche, Iowa, on the banks of the Mississippi River and have lived in the Chicago area since the early '90s. The brothers have joint authorship on a few projects. Most notably, Losers Bracket (stage play), Bad Judgment Day (stage play) and the comedy pilot Happy Bobby Gulliver (TV/Web: happybobbygulliver.com) were each co-authored. Upon graduation from St. Ambrose University, Sander's comedy writing/performing credits include The Second City, ImprovOlympic, WNEP Theater, Herky Wilbur Productions, ComedySportz Chicago, 670 The Score, Comedy Thingy, Spark Creative Comedy (LA/Chicago), script consultant, commissioned playwright and writer for various corporate videos and live shows. As a performer, he has more than 20 years of stage and video acting experience. Sander proudly wrote/performed in the very first (now world-renowned) Chicago Sketchfest and has been welcomed back each year since 2002. Sander has been married to professional singer/songwriter Kathryn (Mensik) Sander since 2001.
