Christopher Paul Curtis is the Newbery and Coretta Scott King award-winning author of The Watsons Go to Birmingham-1963; Bud, Not Buddy; Elijah of Buxton; Mr. Chickee's Funny Money and The Madman of Piney Woods. He, his wife, Habon, and their three children live in Windsor, Ontario.
