Christopher Luscombe began his career writing and performing for the Footlights Revue at Cambridge University. After appearing in Kean with Sir Derek Jacobi at the Old Vic in London, he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company, with whom he spent the next seven years. His many roles included Launcelot Gobbo in The Merchant of Venice, Moth in Love's Labour's Lost, Slender in The Merry Wives of Windsor and Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing. More recently, he has played Smee in Peter Pan at the Royal National Theatre and Beverly Carlton in The Man Who Came to Dinner at Chichester Festival Theatre as well as touring his one-man show Half Time at home and abroad.
