Cherisse Montgomery is a playwright and poet whose plays have been performed at Venus Theatre, Southern Writers Theatre and at SeattleÕs Mae West Fest. Several of her poems and short stories, including ÒBeware of Dogs,Ó ÒFortune Cookie Explains U.S. Foreign Affairs Policy,Ó ÒRiding in the Carpool Lane to Mt. RushmoreÓ and ÒMicronesia 1954-72,Ó have been published in the Washington Square literary magazine, The Residential College Review, Voices Magazine and Xylem magazine.
