C.E. Glanville

C.E. Glanville is a Chicago-based playwright who received her master's degree in theatre education from Emerson College in 2012. What We Lost Along the Way was her master's project and was awarded the Betsy Carpenter Playwriting Prize and the Aurand Harris Memorial Playwriting Competition Second Prize. The play was also chosen as a semifinalist in the 2013 Write Now Competition and workshopped at Boston Children's Theatre and NYU's New Plays for Young Audiences in June 2013 at the Provincetown Playhouse. Originally from the Midwest, Glanville was an actor and high-school drama teacher before taking up playwriting. She has a bachelor's degree in English from Lake Forest College and a master's degree in secondary education from Loyola University.
