Bob May earned an M.F.A. in playwriting from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and currently teaches playwriting and screenwriting at the University of Central Arkansas. He has about 20 published plays with various publishing companies including Concerned Citizen (Dramatic Publishing); Gidget's Gadget to Bamboozle Beanie (Playscripts, Inc.); Beanie and the Bamboozling Book Machine (Samuel French); Crystal and the Christmas Snowman (Baker's Plays); Jack and Bella, From Beanstalk to Broadway (Heuer Publishing); The Great Santa Claus Reindeer Roundup (Brooklyn Publishers); and The Andrew Is Dead Story (I.E. Clark, Inc.). His plays Broadway Memories and 9th Inning Wedding are published in the textbook The Golden Stage by Ann McDonough. His absurdist play Go To... is published in the 2009 literary journal The Exquisite Corpse. His book on acting, Postcard Pointers to the Performer, is published by Heuer Publishing. May and his wife, Cathy, have five children and four grandchildren. He is a member of The Dramatists Guild of America.
