Anthony De Angelis is a composer,
arranger and pianist/conductor living in New York City. As a composer, he’s had
shows produced at the Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival in Utah; by FUSE
Productions in Pennsylvania; and at The PIT, CAP21, 54 Below, The Players
Theatre and Nazareth University in New York. His musical An Axemas Story
has had multiple runs at The Players Theatre, and his TYA musical The
Prince’s New Pet was premiered by FUSE Productions. His orchestrations and
arrangements have been played by The New York Pops, Cincinnati Pops Orchestra
and the American Pops Orchestra with performances of his music featured on
multiple PBS programs as well as at Lincoln Center. As a pianist and conductor,
he’s worked on more than 20 Broadway and off-Broadway shows, including
associate musical director of Bright Star (by Steve Martin and Edie
Brickell), Kid Victory and Pacific Overtures. Additionally, he
contributed charts to Randy Rainbow’s “Hey Girl, It’s Christmas.” De Angelis is
a member of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.
