Andrea Moon is a playwright, poet, performer and teacher. Her theatrical work has been produced at small theatres and universities across the country, as well as in Italy and China. Her written work has also been published by ECLECTICA magazine, an online literary magazine, Applause Books and New York Theatrical Experience. Moon is currently the head of theatre studies and an assistant professor at the University of Northern Colorado, where she teaches dramatic literature and movement for the actor. She holds a MFA in Playwriting from the University of Texas at Austin and a PhD in Theatre History/ Criticism from the University of Colorado at Boulder. When she's not writing, performing or teaching, Moon can be found throwing pots, swinging from various aerial dance apparatus or hanging out with her husband and pug in the foothills of Colorado.
