Adam Hummel graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in the spring of 2001 with a B.F.A. in Theatre. During his four years at UMD, Hummel performed in numerous main-season productions as well as two summers with the Minnesota Repertory Theatre. In April of 2002, The Movie Game was performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., as part of the national American College Theatre Festival where Hummel received the Mark Twain Comedy Writing Award. Subsequent high school, collegiate and professional productions of The Movie Game have been staged across the country and in Canada. Hummel's other works include Fooling the Beard and Minnesconsin.
