Special Message Regarding Covid-19

I wanted to personally provide this information as we manage the turmoil caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our paramount concern is that everyone remains vigilant in mitigating the impact of the pandemic. Much of what we have come to accept as normal is in question. What is not in question is our commitment to our customers, authors, stakeholders and collaborators.

I am also committed to the safety and well-being of the personnel who work diligently and with pride in providing the service you have come to expect from Dramatic Publishing. To this end, how we provide that service will change slightly over the (hopefully) short term.

Effective immediately, and until further notice, I have enacted a plan allowing my entire staff to work remotely. All incoming calls will be received and messages routed and returned quickly. I strongly urge you to utilize our website to place orders and make inquiries. Accounting and shipping functions will continue behind the scenes and to the extent possible remotely. Orders will continue to be processed with minimal delay and will ship quickly once processed.

We understand that plans have been upended. I assure you that ALL rescheduling requests will be answered and accommodated to the very best of our ability. In the event that it is not possible to reschedule your production, a refund for prepaid royalties will be honored.

Our licenses DO NOT include live-streaming rights. However, we will work on your behalf to secure rights when requested in writing. Most, but not all, rightsholders have agreed thus far. Sometimes the issue is further complicated by other contracts for movie and television. For example, we have been advised that Twelve Angry Men is not available to live stream as a result of complicating external contracts.

We will resume normal operations as soon as it becomes sane and reasonable to do so and will endeavor to conduct business as usual in the interim. Please contact us by email or via the website. All calls will be returned and all inquiries will be answered. We are continually monitoring communications, and we remain attentive to your needs.

I hope that you stay vigilant, yet find optimism in this time of uncertainty.

This too shall pass.

Sincerely,

Christopher Sergel III

President
