Synopsis
Set in Fairyland long ago, the king and queen of Mogdnik can't stand the constant bickering of their three sons, so the King orders them to find brides and go! Each son must shoot an arrow in a different direction and marry the girl nearest the arrow. Engelbert's arrow leads to Priscilla, a pretty blond in a fetching peasant costume. Lady Cosell, a brunette, is next. Beautiful but so practical, she interrupts Humperdink's proposal to ask how much money he has. But she does, finally, say "yes." The arrow of Crown Prince Alexander goes straight to a frog girl, Francine, who lives in the castle pond. She's already half in love with him. But he can't marry a frog. Or can he? It's time for the Fairy Frogmother, who comes on to help her charming amphibian whose love and devotion win all in the end. This is a fresh and different play and one of the most delightful shows since frogs first trilled in ponds.
