The Fabulous Fable Factory
The Fabulous Fable Factory
Fantasy/Adventure. By Joseph Robinette. Based on the musical by Joseph Robinette and Thomas Tierney.

Cast: cast is for 9 actors, flexible. May be performed by all m. or all w., extras if desired. This delightful story of an inquisitive youngster who discovers and old factory operated by a Mr. (or Mrs.) Aesop and an assumbly line of seven (or more) fablemakers is now available in a non-musical version. Some of Aesop's best-known fables including The Ant and the Grasshopper, The Lion and the Mosue, The Tortoise and the Hare and others are enacted as the young boy (or girl) surprises everyone, including himself, with his moral-making ability. This charming play is a director's delight as it presents ensemble performing at its best. One simple int. set. Approximate running time: 45 to 50 minutes.
