Cast: 3 adult roles, 1 m. and 2 w. (9 roles may be performed by children with a variable number of dancers.) This charming play is a contemporary fairy tale which successfully blends fantasy and reality and introduces a delightfully new American character into dramatic literature for children. Hally, a nonconformist fairy, is abandoned in a backyard where she must adjust to the ways of human children, who in turn experience the delights of creative imagination at work.
