In a marvelous palace made of white marble, a princess is given anything she might dream of by her father, the king. Yet, she is unsatisfied with what she has. "Yukk—what do I have? Common things. The same baubles everyone has. I want something—extraordinary." As visitors bring her rare and valuable gifts, the princess remains discontented. When she finally discovers the object of her desire, an old jeweler helps her realize the true path to her satisfaction. Set: flexible staging, with simple or extravagant sets.
