Fairy Tale. Adapted by Lowell Swortzell. Cast: 1m., 6w., 1 narrator and 3 horsemen.
Tall tree trunks dimly outline the sides of the stage and then fade into the distance.
NARRATOR: This story takes place many years ago at the edge of a great forest. It's dark now but, listen, I hear a horseman galloping this way. Yes, here he comes.
From out of the darkness rides the Blue Horseman, who gallops across and off. Immediately thereafter, new light begins to illuminate the forest.
The Blue Horseman brings the soft morning light. Just as the Orange Horseman brings the bright daylight. See, here he is.
