Musical. Book by Richard Norquist. Music and lyrics by Gary Zimmerman. Cast: 12m., 7w., extras. An attractive girl vacationing with her family in the Black Hills comes across a Ghost Town. She's intrigued to find an old post on which some boy has long ago carved "J.X. luvs B.H." and these are her initials! Then, before her eyes, the ancient abandoned town starts to come to life again. From the present we're all suddenly back in the town of "Sweetwater," and a Fourth of July celebration is just getting underway, but it's July, 1876! The girl, "Buttonnose," finds herself involved with a humorous old prospector, gypsies, Indians, the people of the town, but most important, a young man named Jimmy X. Charming, imaginative and original, this is a delightful musical comedy.
