Drama/Comedy. By Richard Dresser.

Cast: 5m., 4w. It's a perfect spring day at Bowen College. The tight-knit group of off-campus seniors gathers on the roof of their apartment house for a final fling before graduation. The next day families will be arriving, the graduation festivities will begin, and the long-time friends will be going their separate ways. As the clock ticks toward the future, the group's carefree life together starts to unravel. A long-established couple splits apart under the pressure of different expectations for their future. Three members of a band get the big break of their dreams. But the possibility of success forces the leader to reveal where his life is really headed. The perfect-student valedictorian who cheated has to choose between public honor and private integrity. Loyalties are tested, romances challenged, and the group reconfigures itself in surprising ways as each one has to face the bittersweet end of one era and the sobering start of the next. One ext. set. Approximate running time: 40 minutes.
