Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell
Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell
"I came to know my life through the telling of it." —Spalding Gray

"Vividly funny! Joyous, devastating, affecting, gorgeous." —N.Y. Times

"A moving piece of theatre. This elegant refashioning of Spalding Gray's work is an excellent example of found poetry. Heard in this fresh configuration, Gray's words allow a new group of artists to reflect on what being alive can mean." —Variety

"The show is life-affirming. A gift!" —Back Stage

"Gray's writings exist on their own and can be performed by others without diminishment or betrayal." —Newsday

"Nothing eludes his eye or the sureness of his satire. The secret of his success is the skewed angle of vision—his eccentric wit and ruthless candor." —Los Angeles Times

"A master storyteller. Everything Gray has to say I find fascinating. I hang on every word." —New York Post

"Talking about himself—with candor, humor, imagination—he ends up talking about all of us." —Washington Post
