Blitzen!
Blitzen!
Comedy/Drama. By Julian Wiles.

Cast: 1m., 2w. (3 boys, 7m., or w.) It is the Christmas after one of the largest hurricanes ever to hit the United States, and Stephen and Andy's room, like most of their house, is still in shambles. It is the Christmas when Stephen has stopped believing in almost everything and the Christmas when his little brother, Andy, writes to Santa Claus to ask him to fix up their room for Christmas. Of course, no one, especially Stephen, thinks this is possible, and then Blitzen shows up. This play is not about a natural disaster, although a hurricane does play a major role in it. Rather it is a story about beliefs and believing and how if you really want to believe in magic, sometimes you have to make the magic yourself. A warm and moving story of a family rediscovering the magic of Christmas. Unit set.
