Take Two
Take Two
By Jacqueline Lynch.

Cast: 1m., 1w. (cast count includes 1 either gender.) Emily Norbert is a former child film star who continues her successful career as an adult. She is an award-winning actress, a disciplined and very private young woman who has invited noted film critic, Gil Rafferty, to her trailer on the set of her latest film for a rare interview. Rafferty has made a detailed study of her films and her career. Emily deftly turns his interview around posing questions to him, displaying her familiarity with his essays, suggesting that his interest in the minutiae of her work borders on fascination. She quietly suggests that he is obsessed with her, perhaps even in a sexual way. This astounds Rafferty and upsets him. It is revealed that Emily has been aiding the FBI in an investigation of threatening communications she has received. The verbiage of these notes come directly from Rafferty's reviews, with which Emily is so familiar. Together, Emily and Rafferty discover how intimately they have come to know each other and examine, against the backdrop of a threat on her life, the morbid fascination of the fan. One int. set. Approximate running time 20 minutes.
