A Sick World
A Sick World
Si TV KC/ACTF Latino Playwriting Award
By Robert Lopez.

Cast: 2m. David, a 16-year-old runaway, has been picked up off the street for a crime he didn't commit. At the Social Service Department, David is interrogated by Adam, a 30-something-year-old social worker with little patience for David's games. As the interrogation progresses, both David and Adam begin to share details of their personal lives, ultimately leading David to release a powerful secret. Will Adam be able to help David fully open up and save him from going back to the streets? Or will David be just another statistic in this sick world? One set. Approximate Running Time: 20 minutes.
