Seth\'s Anxiety
Seth's Anxiety
By Jay Thornton.

Cast: 5m., 14w., 5 m. or w., extras (doubling possible). Seth is struggling to come to terms with the divorce of his parents, and his fears come to life in his dreams—from singing lunch ladies who serve him slop to mean girl bullies who cram him into a garbage can. Seth eventually finds a cure for his anxiety at a school bus stop where he meets Natalie, a girl his age, who has experienced his same fears and pains. The realization that his anxieties are shared by others sends him to his first day of middle school with a confident smile. Flexible staging. Approximate Running Time: 40 minutes.
