Drama. By Luella E. McMahon and Ruth Sergel from the story by Mary Ellen Chase. Cast: 7w. Here is heartache, humor and tenderness in the setting of a home for elderly ladies. Three of the old ladies are to leave for the state hospital at four. The matron has resolved to send them off with a tea party. One old lady has the idea a taxi's taking her home at four. Another has the idea she's dying at four. The third has only a compulsion to "do something" at four—but the something requires a sharp kitchen knife. There is tension in the play as the hour of four approaches. The ending is one of love and understanding. One int. set.
