The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks
The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks
By Nancy McArthur. Adapted from her book.

Cast: 3m., 3w. (the cast includes 4 m or w. Doubling possible.) Messy Michael and his younger brother, Norman, the neatness nut and expert pest, share a room in constant conflict in this comic tale. From seeds that came in the mail, the boys grow two weird but lovable pet plants that they name Stanley and Fluffy. But these plants do more than just stand around. They develop a growing appetite for socks and cause disasters at home and at the school science fair. The brothers put aside their squabbling and work together to come up with a zany plan to save the plants from Mom and Dad's ultimatum to get rid of them. Area staging. Approximate Running Time: 60 minutes.
