Newton\'s Second Law
Newton's Second Law
By Sam Forman.

Cast: 2m., 4w. Newton is an intelligent, slightly neurotic, exceedingly romantic student at a traditional New England prep school. On his own, he is a likable and comic eccentric, but around women he often becomes awkward and has trouble connecting or saying the right thing. This witty and poignant play follows Newton, through a series of date scenes and dream sequences, on his quest to find "the perfect girl." He matures considerably, however, through the course of the play and eventually accepts that there is no such thing as "perfect." By the time the curtain falls, Newton has found a suitable but surprising mate and has grown to appreciate his, and other people's, "charming imperfections." An intriguing, honest, uplifting and very funny play. Minimal set. Approximate Running Time: 60 minutes.
