The Mouse on Mars (manuscript)
The Mouse on Mars (manuscript)
Comedy. Adapted by Christopher Sergel. Based on the book by Leonard Wibberley.

Cast: 8m., 15w. This show is one of those rare accidents where brilliant comment combines with outrageously funny incident. Grand Fenwick, the smallest country in the world, where the army still defends itself with bows and arrows, is forced into the space race. Gloriana, the lovely girl in her early 20s who rules this little land, is a secret student of history. Her studies, which include the works of Machiavelli, have made her a formidable adversary, even for the more experienced leaders of the great world powers. Gloriana's well-intentioned maneuvers, however, suddenly put her tiny duchy in the race to put the first man on Mars. But don't underestimate Grand Fenwick! Area staging.

Notes
The manuscript can be photocopied for production. Just let us know how many copies you will be making, and we will issue a letter of permission.
