David C. Daheim taught in the Washington state community college system from 1965 to 1997. He is now professor emeritus, retired, Shoreline Community College, Shoreline, Washington. His writing has appeared in such national magazines as Opera News and Ford Times as well as regional publications. His plays have been performed in San Francisco and Los Angeles. He has written seven screenplays, seven stage plays and two novels. Daheim earned his B.A. at the University of Minnesota and his M.A. from the University of Washington. He did additional graduate-school work at the University of Southern California. He is married and has three children and two grandchildren.
