LOU and PATTY: Middle-aged couple, once from Dub and Belle's hometown, now residents of Dallas.
SETTING: The Sixth Floor Museum, a national museum in Dallas, located on the sixth floor of the book depository from which Lee Harvey Oswald, according to all reliable evidence, fired the shots that killed President John F. Kennedy. Cardboard boxes stenciled "BOOKS" are piled around the front of a partly open window.
