Thomas Tierney wrote music and lyrics for several songs in the Off-Broadway review Pets!, including "First Cat" which has ben heard on the nation's airwaves. He also wrote music and lyrics for Jungle Queen Debutante which played at Seattle's Village Theatre and was featured in New York's "Broadway Dozen" series. He composed the music for Eleanor which played to sell-out houses at the Pittsburgh Public Theatre and Seattle's Village Theatre and was recently produced at The Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre near Chicago. He wrote music for Tommy Tune's one man musical Ichabod which played at Boston and New York, and for The Dream Team at Connecticut's Goodspeed Opera. His musicals for young audiences include The Fabulous Fable Factory and Olympic Spirit which have toured nationally, and the full length Narnia has played both in London and Off-Broadway in New York. Theatreworks/USA has toured six of his shows from Alaska to New York to Florida including a stop a the White House for a special performance of First Lady. Mr. Tierney's music and lyrics have been heard on television, in commercials and industrials, including AT&T's theme song at EPCOT Center. He is a member of ASCAP, The Dramatists Guild and The New York Television Academy, for which he has served on the Board of Governors.
