Kenneth Kacmar won both the Telly Award and the Videographers Award of Excellence for his original score for the video Even You. His musical The Magical Red Shoes was seen as part of the Next Stage Festival of new plays at the Cleveland Play House. His musical If the Shoe Fits was recently honored with the Directors' Choice Award selected by John Rando for the National Music Theater Network and was presented in the inaugural New York Musical Theater Festival (starring Tony Award-winner Michele Pawk). Kacmar has written several scores for musicals including The Garage Band, The Nutcracker—A New Holiday Musical, The Magical Red Shoes, Rappaccini's Daughter, Androcles and the Lion, Shelter, The Emperor's New Clothes and Once Upon…The Brothers Grimm. He has a master's degree in composition from Hunter College, New York City, and is head of the music and drama programs at The Kew-Forest School, Forest Hills, N.Y.
