Robert Inman is the author of four novels: Home Fires Burning, Old Dogs and Children, Dairy Queen Days and Captain Saturday; and a non-fiction collection, Coming Home: Life, Love and All Things Southern. He has written screenplays for six television movies, including two "Hallmark Hall of Fame" productions. His script for The Summer of Ben Tyler won the 1997 Writers Guild of America award for "Best Original TV Screenplay."
